Privacy Policy
Effective October 19, 2026
Diamond Producers Council LLC (“DPC,” “we,” “us”) operates diamondproducers.org. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, contact us or submit a consumer report.
For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@diamondproducers.org.
Information we collect
Inquiries: We receive your name, email address, inquiry type, message and any company or organization details you provide. General and membership inquiries go to hello@diamondproducers.org; press inquiries go to media@diamondproducers.org.
Consumer reports: We receive your name and email address, the business or website concerned, your account of what happened, and any dates, locations, purchase information or evidence links you provide. We also receive your agreement to the report’s stated use. Reports go to reports@diamondproducers.org.
Evidence links are included in your report; the form does not automatically download or attach their contents. Authorized reviewers may open them while reviewing your report. Please provide only relevant information and avoid passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary information about other people.
Our hosting, email and security services may process IP addresses, browser and device information, request times, requested pages, delivery records and error logs to operate and protect the website. The forms use basic spam and rate controls.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, administer membership and press communications, review reported marketing practices, follow up on reports and assess whether further legal review is appropriate. We also use it to maintain the website, troubleshoot problems, prevent misuse, handle privacy requests and meet applicable legal obligations. If you allow optional analytics, we use website-usage information to understand readership and improve the site.
Submitting an inquiry or report does not subscribe you to a newsletter or mailing list. Reports submitted through the form are not posted on this website. Submitting a report does not create an attorney-client relationship or, by itself, make the information legally privileged.
Who receives information
Information may be handled by people authorized by DPC to respond to inquiries, administer its activities or review reports. With the permission requested in the report form, DPC may share your report with its legal advisers and contact you about your experience.
We use service providers for website hosting, technical operations, security, email delivery and mailbox services. They process information needed to deliver those services. The website and form delivery use Lovable services; optional analytics uses Google Analytics.
We may disclose information when required by law or legal process, or when reasonably necessary and permitted by law to protect rights, address misuse or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Cookies, analytics and fonts
We save your analytics preference in your browser. You can remove browser storage and cookies through your browser settings; this may reset your preferences.
Google Analytics is optional and loads only after you choose “Allow analytics.” It uses cookies and technical information to measure activity such as page visits, how visitors arrive, browser and device characteristics, and approximate location. Your browser communicates technical information, including its IP address, to Google when the service loads. DPC’s website configuration disables Google signals and advertising-personalization signals.
You can decline analytics and continue using the website. To change or withdraw your choice, select Analytics preferences in the footer. Withdrawal stops further analytics collection by this website in that browser; it does not automatically delete information already collected. The site does not currently change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals; use Analytics preferences to control optional analytics.
The website also retrieves fonts from Google Fonts. These separate requests to Google can occur without analytics consent.
International processing
Our service providers may handle information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Privacy protections can differ between countries. For information about the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your information, contact hello@diamondproducers.org.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described here. Relevant factors include whether an inquiry or report remains open, necessary follow-up, security needs, applicable legal requirements, and the establishment or defense of legal claims. Information subject to a legal preservation obligation may need to be retained longer.
We use access controls and service-provider security features to protect information. No website, email service or transmission method can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and requests
You may choose not to submit a form or leave optional fields blank. Required information is needed to process the relevant submission.
Contact hello@diamondproducers.org to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, to withdraw a permission you have given, or to raise a concern. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, or complain to a privacy regulator. We may need to verify your identity. Requests are subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions.
Children’s information
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact hello@diamondproducers.org so we can review and address it.
Other websites and policy changes
Links to other websites are governed by those websites’ privacy practices. We may update this policy as our services or practices change. We will post the current version and effective date on this page, and provide additional notice of material changes where required by applicable law.
